About Wedding Photographer Evgeniy Osokin
Hi, I’m Evgeniy Osokin — a Toronto-based wedding photographer with 10 years of experience capturing weddings across Europe and Canada.
I started shooting weddings in Ukraine, then spent years working across Spain, Italy, Belgium, and Switzerland. Each country taught me something different — how light behaves in a Tuscan courtyard, how emotion reads in a Belgian château, how a quiet moment between two people can carry an entire story. In 2024, I relocated to Toronto and brought that European editorial eye with me.
My approach blends two styles. During the morning preparation and our portrait session, I work with intention — guiding you naturally into clean, cinematic frames. For the rest of the day, I disappear. I work quietly in the background so you forget the camera is there. And when you do — that’s when the real photographs happen.
I shoot weddings wherever your story takes place. Based in Toronto, I work across the GTA — Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Vaughan, Markham — throughout Ontario, including Niagara-on-the-Lake and Hamilton, and I’m available for destination weddings worldwide.
I take a limited number of weddings per year so every couple gets my full attention — from the first message to the final gallery.
THE EXPERIENCE
1 • Inquiry & First Connection.
It starts with a message. Fill out the inquiry form and tell me about your day — the date, the place, the vision. I’ll get back to you within 12 hours, even if I’m photographing a wedding. From the very first exchange, you’ll feel the difference.
2 • Getting to Know Each Other
Before anything is signed, we have a video call — just a conversation. I want to understand what matters most to you, walk you through my full wedding galleries, and make sure we’re genuinely the right fit. Because the best photos happen when there’s a real connection between a couple and their photographer.
3 • Booking & Securing Your Date
Once we decide to move forward, I will send you a clear contract with no hidden fees — everything outlined transparently. A 30% deposit secures your date. From this moment, your wedding is in my calendar, and my full attention begins.
4 • Pre-Wedding Planning
In the weeks leading up to your wedding, we connect again. We go through the timeline, the key moments that matter to you, the venues, and the lighting conditions. For destination weddings, I research locations in advance — and, if possible, I visit the venue in person to scout the best angles before your wedding day.
5 • Your Wedding Day
I arrive early, dressed in accordance with the dress code. I work quietly and discreetly — you’ll barely notice I’m there. And that’s exactly the point. I capture the real moments: the nervous laugh before the ceremony, the tear your father tries to hide, the first dance when the world disappears. Every frame is intentional. Nothing is missed.
6 • Sneak Peek & Full Gallery Delivery
Within 3–5 days, you’ll receive a sneak peek at 20–30 of my favorite images from your day. Your full gallery of 600–900 carefully edited images is delivered within 6–8 weeks via a private online link, ready to download, share, and print. Your gallery stays accessible for 12 months.
